This week we will be participating in our twentieth "Bout of Books":
The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 10th and runs through Sunday, May 16th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are reading sprints, Twitter chats, and exclusive Instagram challenges, but they’re all completely optional. For all Bout of Books 31 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Today we are participating in another Dewey's Readathon. I will post updates after every three hours.
Here is the opening summary:
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? The Woodlands, Texas, USA (35 miles North of Houston).
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? All of them!!
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? My wife's strawberry dip
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! Chemist, poet, English, husband - "lost in Texas"
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? This time we will be staying home so we can also take care of our rehabbing dog and "super" senior cat.
