So, 2012 is finished.  80 books read, 28,836 pages at an average of 360 pages.   This is the second most book I've ever read in a year (96 is the record in 2008) by far my highest average of pages per book (the previous record 332 also in 2008).

The goal of 2013 will still be the same - 52 books read.

Now to the first book finished this year:

"And Quiet Flow the Don" written by Mikhail Sholokhov.  554 pages.
