I finished reading:

"The Causes of the War of 1812, National Honor or National Interest?" edited by Bradford Perkins. 117 pages.

An interesting collection of Essays from different perspectives. What causes the War of 1812? Was it because of the British Blockade, or the impressment of American sailors, British incitement of the Indian Tribes against the Settlers, the desire for expansion in Canada or purely Nationalism and pride. Lots of different theories. Having read this and other books on the subject I am tempted to go with a combination of the economic affect of the British Blockade Policy and the piracy of the British Navy forcing Americans to serve on the British Ships.

Book #48. 14901 pages at an average of 310 pages per book.
