Here are a few reading stats from 2018

Books finished:  193   A new record (previous 138)
Pages read: 64,037.  A new record (previous 48,051)
Average # of pages per book: 332 (the best year was 420 pages per book)

I read authors born in 27 different countries:  1. USA: 103, 2. England: 35, 3. Scotland: 11, 4. Russia: 10,  5. Wales:8

I read authors both in 33 different USA States:  1. New York: 33,  2. New Jersey: 8,  3. Virginia: 7,  4. Arkansas: 6,  5. Massachusetts: 5.

I read books with titles starting with 23 different letters of the alphabet.  I did not read books starting with Q, V  and X.

I read authors with last names starting with 21 different letters.  I did not read E, J, Q, U Y and X.

Since I've started tracking the number of books (2005) I have read 1256 which means an average of 90 per year.   Since I've started tracking the # of pages (2008) I have  read 381,499 pages at an average or 34,682  a year and 347 per book.

This years goal is 120 books.
