I've lived in the USA now for coming on 7 years. As time has gone on the differences between England and the States grow. I will, when time permits like to discuss some of these issues from my perspective. This may be from politics to socio-economics to sport and any other trivial issues that come to my mind.

My background? I come from the North-East of England, a working class and socilistic out-look. I am, by profession and qualification a chemist and by faith a evanglical, born again Christian. I think these different combinations and facets give my an unique outlook on the world, where I know live. Oh, yes! How did I end up in the States? I fell in love with a beautiful Texan girl 9 years a ago and got married to her 7 years ago.
